The book is a screen printed portrait of Glasgow’s Argyle Street, and was one of my final year projects whilst studying illustration at The Glasgow School of Art last year. It is a collaboration with Victoria Kastenbauer.

Received exciting news yesterday that my documentary on Paddy’s Market, Four Fur A Fiver, has been selected to be part of the shorts programme at Glasgow Film Festival. The dates for the festival are 12th-22th Feb, and the Short Film Festival 13th-15th February.
Eleanor’s is a hair salon on Argyle Street.
The lady in the hair dryer is called May. I first met her on Argyle Street when gathering material for what would become Argyle Socks & Sandals, where she speaks of Eleanor’s. One year later, she coincidentally happened to be getting her hair done the morning I went into the salon for a chat.
